Edward M. Spivak, Successful Entrepreneur/Businessman, Appointed to Board
Khoral Expands Telecommunications and Networking Expertise
Albuquerque, New Mexico, January 19, 2000 --
Khoral Inc., New Mexico's second fastest growing high technology company, announced that Edward M. Spivak, President of Spivak Associates, one of the top telecommunications experts in the state, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Khoral Inc.
Mr. Spivak's background includes executive positions in two Silicon Valley electronics start-ups and 30 years of telecommunications experience with Pacific Bell, Bellcore and AT&T in marketing, product management, regulatory, operations, and engineering.

Since 1996, Mr. Spivak has been a marketing advisor to high technology, start-up companies. He is currently working on a Wideband Community Network development project in Los Alamos. His clients include New Mexico-based companies in the fields of: telecommunications, software, and electronics. Spivak holds an MBA from New York University, a BS in Electronic Engineering and a BS in Mathematics from Cal Poly University. Spivak was the Chairman for the 1999 New Mexico Communications Network Symposium and is active in the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce and the New Mexico Entrepreneurs Association. He is also Vice President of the New Mexico Optics Association.
