Khoral Inc., one of

Dr. Dan Hartley, Vice President of Laboratory Development at Sandia
National Laboratories, has been appointed Chairman of the Board of
Directors of Khoral Inc.
Dr. Hartley is currently responsible for strategic management issues
at Sandia National Laboratories, including research funding, strategic
planning, business development, industry and university partnerships,
congressional relations and information technology. Dr. Hartley's 31-year
experience includes nearly two decades at Sandia's California site,
where he founded the Department of Entergy's Combustion Research Facility.
"Under Dr. Hartley's leadership, we expect Khoral to expand from a
strategic partnership perspective," said Jack Whittier, president of
Khoral. "His extensive government and economic development
experience contributes senior management and strategic planning expertise

In addition to serving as Chairman of the Board for Khoral,
Dr. Hartley sits on several other influential Boards, including the
Albuquerque Economic Forum, Albuquerque Economic Development, University
of New Mexico Science & Technology Corporation, Business Technology Group,
and Quality New Mexico. He is also a member of the State Legislature
Advisory Committee on Economic Development.

Dr. Hartley has served on numerous panels for the International Energy
Agency, the National Science Foundation (NSF), the National Research
Council, National Institute of Health (NIH), National Aeronautics Space
Administration (NASA), and the Department of Energy (DOE). He received
his Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology,
and was a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Von Karman Institute in Belgium.
